In Melbourne, Doncaster is a sure bet because it sits on the top of a hill, but Docklands is considered “bad luck”. “Doncaster is the eye of the dragon, particularly where the Westfield shopping centre is,” Chinese property website ACProperty’s Esther Yong said. “The stagnant water in the Docklands however is bad feng shui, which explains why prices there haven’t risen.”
