More than 15 years ago, while working in Australian real estate, we noticed something many in the industry overlooked.

Chinese buyers relied on translated materials, shared listings with family overseas, and sought advice from friends before making decisions.

The information mattered — but so did the language it was presented in.

There was nowhere built for them.

At the time, most property advertising existed entirely in English, on channels many Chinese buyers simply weren't using.

We realised reaching this audience required more than translation. It required understanding how they discovered, researched and engaged with property.

So we built ACproperty.

A platform built around how Chinese buyers actually search — their language, their channels, and the people they trust.

As their attention moved from QQ to Weibo to WeChat, we moved with them — because the behaviour never changed.

We built ACproperty because Chinese buyers searched differently.

ACproperty was founded by Esther and Ivy in Melbourne, more than 15 years ago.

Long before Chinese-buyer marketing became an industry, the two of us were working between Australian real estate and an audience most agents could not reach. ACproperty grew out of that — built by people close enough to notice how Chinese buyers actually searched, and why the usual channels missed them.

Fifteen years on, that's still the work: connecting Australian agents to the buyers most of the market can't reach — through a bilingual team and a distribution network spanning 40+ countries.
